My favourites from London Fashion Week. Transparency is an interesting technique to play with and layered with opaque clothing behind has a soft contemporary look. I have been seeing a lot on the Spring/Summer 2018 runways. I already have a navy tulle slip dress to wear over cropped cords which could work to adapt this trend earlier in the winter months.

These are the shows and details from the New York Spring/Summer 2018 collections that I enjoyed. I mainly review them from a personal perspective, in terms of – is this my taste – which won’t be the same as everyones. A colour I’ve been picking up on is lilac. I would always say when asked, that purple is my least favourite colour. Closely followed by teal, turquoise and aqua. However, lilac I do like and I think of Versace. I haven’t featured much lilac in these following images but I think it could be big for spring. But then again when aren’t pastels popular?
